Physical and chemical properties: White or slightly yellow powder, insoluble in water, toluene, xylene, soluble in tetrahydrofuran, N,N-dimethylformamide and other organic solvents.

As a heat-resistant modifier in PVC, PMMA resin and photosensitive materials, it can not only improve the heat-resistant temperature of the resin, but also some mechanical properties (such as hardness, tensile strength, etc.), hot melt and processing properties. Depending on the content of N-phenylmaleimide in the copolymer, the copolymer presents different glass transition temperatures. When the amount of NSA in the PVC/NSA composite material is 10-30wt%, the heat-resistant temperature of polyvinyl chloride can be increased by 15-25C°.
