On the afternoon of January 15, 2024, Foshan (South China) New Materials Research Institute held a signing and inauguration ceremony of the Joint Laboratory with Xianyang Sanjing Science and Technology Co. The two sides reached an agreement to focus on the synthesis of polymer electronic materials and modification of key areas such as applied research, to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into real-life productive forces, and contribute scientific and technological power to the high-quality development of the economy.

Xianyang Sanjing Science and Technology Co., Ltd. is a specialized enterprise specializing in the production of maleamide series materials, with more than 80% of the annual output exported to the U.S., Germany, Belgium, Japan and other countries, and has established a long-term sales partnership with the world's top 500 companies, such as DuPont, Dow, Bass and so on.

Foshan (South China) New Materials Research Institute is a scientific and technological innovation platform jointly constructed by Foshan Municipal People's Government, Nanhai District People's Government and Tsinghua University School of Materials. Based on the Bay Area and facing the whole country, the Institute is committed to the research, application and transformation of key technologies of new materials. It has been approved as a new type of research and development institution in Guangdong Province, a post-doctoral innovation practice base in Guangdong Province, a doctoral workstation in Guangdong Province and other platforms of 9 municipal levels and above, and has been approved for nearly 80 vertical projects at the national, provincial, ministerial and municipal levels, and has filed more than 300 patent applications, which provides strong support for hundreds of enterprises to improve the efficiency of research and development and to reduce the cost of research and development. In the next five years, the two sides are expected to invest 10 million yuan for the construction of the joint laboratory. Foshan (South China) New Materials Research Institute will organize a team of experts to provide new solutions, expand new application scenarios, and provide support and services for the cultivation of scientific and technological talents and the construction of R&D platforms for enterprises, combining with the technological needs and development goals of Sanjing Technology in electronic materials, modified materials, resin materials and other aspects.
